This release is non-critical and only fixes the readme.txt file.
New users are encouraged to download this release, and old users on any version before 1.0.3 is encouraged to upgrade to this version.
Beginning with this release, future release notifications from this blog will have download graphics. Download graphics with a green arrow indicate stable releases, whereas download graphics with orange arrows indicate critical releases. Old deprecated versions that are known to be problematic do not show the graphic.
Remember, the Simpler iPaper project on Google Code has a wiki page for the changelog that better explains the version numbers and the versions over time.
In this release, the readme file more thoroughly explains the procedures for using the plugin, and a changelog has been added. Inside the plugin, the metadata has been updated to add a link to this blog.
This plugin has been tested with the most recent version of WordPress, version 2.6.3.
Do not download this version. It has been replaced by 1.0.3b.
Our Simpler iPaper plugin may be capable of adding this functionality to blogs, although such a new feature would necessitate an options page, heavier code, database/options table access, and a major version number change.
Although this is certainly an interesting idea and a possibility, is it something that should be considered as a feature of Simpler iPaper? I can certainly see uses of such a feature.
The Simpler iPaper plugin is listed on the WordPress plugin directory. On the plugin directory, users can always download the latest version of the plugin, read installation instructions, and rate the plugin.
